Crops Plus Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I turn on the colored rectangles above my crops?
The resource pack activates automatically once you select it in your resource pack menu and apply it to your world. You should see the colored rectangles appear above all planted crops immediately.
What does each color mean for harvest timing?
Red means the crop was just planted, orange means it's halfway grown, yellow means it's almost ready, and green means it's fully mature and ready to harvest right now.
Can I see the color indicators from far away?
Yes, that's one of the main features—the rectangles are designed to be visible from a distance so you can scan your entire farm without walking up close to each plant.
Do the indicators work on all crop types?
The pack works on standard Minecraft crops like wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beetroot, which all follow the same growth stage system.
Will this resource pack slow down my game?
No, resource packs only change visuals and have minimal performance impact; Crops Plus simply adds colored rectangles without affecting your frame rate.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, you can stack multiple resource packs in your resource pack list, though if another pack also modifies crop visuals there may be conflicts—place Crops Plus lower in the list to prioritize it.
Do I need to do anything special to set up my farm to use this pack?
No setup is needed; just plant your crops normally and the indicators will appear automatically above them.
Why can't I see the rectangles above some of my crops?
Make sure the resource pack is actually selected and applied in your resource pack menu, and check that you're looking at planted crops rather than fully grown ones you haven't harvested yet.
Does this work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, resource packs work in multiplayer—each player can have it installed on their client side without needing server permission.
Can I customize the colors or size of the rectangles?
Resource packs don't offer in-game customization options, so you would need to edit the pack files directly if you want to change colors or sizing.
