The most direct way to increase critical strike chance is through the Critical Hit enchantment. Apply it to your sword or bow—each level adds a flat percentage boost to your crit chance. Combine this with the Critical Hit Effect potion, which stacks additively with your enchantment level.

For maximum uptime, drink a Critical Hit Effect potion before entering prolonged combat. You can also use splash potions to buff allies or tipped arrows to apply the effect to enemies you hit.

Optimize Your Base Stats

Your mod settings determine your baseline critical strike chance. Check your configuration to see your current base percentage. Every attack—whether melee or ranged—rolls against this chance, so even small increases compound over many hits.

Combine your enchanted weapon with the potion effect active to achieve the highest possible trigger rate. Remember that critical strikes still rely on chance, so even with maximum buffs, you won't crit every swing. Plan your combat strategy around consistent damage rather than guaranteed crits.
