Customize Critical Strike Sounds and Particles

Adjust Audio Settings

The mod provides separate volume controls for melee and ranged critical strikes. Access your mod settings to fine-tune these independently. If you prefer louder feedback on sword hits but quieter bow crits, you can balance them to your preference. The audio includes randomized pitch variation, so each crit sounds slightly different.

Control Visual Feedback

Critical strikes trigger custom particle effects—sparkles, skulls, and expanding rings burst from your target on impact. These particles are purely visual and don't affect gameplay. If you're experiencing performance issues during large battles, check your mod configuration for particle density or batch settings.

The tick batching option helps maintain smooth performance when many critical strikes occur simultaneously. Adjust these settings if you notice frame drops during intense combat while keeping the visual and audio feedback you enjoy.
