Disable Specific Glitch Effects While Keeping Others

Open Shader Configuration

Access your shader options through Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options. Most shader packs allow per-effect toggling.

Toggle Individual Effects

Cripe Shaders typically lets you enable or disable:

  • Screen Corruption (grid shifting)
  • Color Separation (RGB channel splitting)
  • Scanlines (VHS tape effect)
  • Ghost Trails (motion blur artifacts)
  • Flicker (brightness instability)
  • Static/Film Noise (grain overlay)
  • Jitter (screen shake and melting)

Create Your Custom Look

Turn off effects that bother you most while keeping others active. For example, you might disable scanlines but keep color separation, or remove jitter while maintaining static. Each combination creates a different glitchy aesthetic. Test your configuration in different biomes and lighting conditions to ensure it works well for your playstyle.
