Capture Screenshots That Show Off the Glitch Effects
Choose the Right Locations
Glitch effects are most visually striking in specific environments:
- Water and reflective surfaces: Color separation and corruption show dramatically
- Dense forests or jungles: Multiple layers create interesting distortion patterns
- Moving mobs or players: Ghost trails and jitter effects are most visible with motion
- Bright areas: Flicker and color splits contrast better against light
- Dark caves or night scenes: Static and noise become prominent
Position Your Camera
Frame your shot to include movement or contrast. Capture mobs swimming, players walking, or landscapes with varied terrain. Avoid static, empty scenes where glitches are subtle.
Adjust Shader Settings for Impact
Temporarily increase glitch intensity before screenshotting to make effects more visible. Boost color separation, scanlines, and corruption for dramatic results.
Take Multiple Shots
Since effects change randomly frame-to-frame, take several screenshots from the same angle. You'll capture different glitch patterns and can choose the most visually interesting result.
