Use the World Map to Monitor Distant Airships

Open the Full World Map

Press the key to open Xaero's World Map (default is typically X or configurable in your controls). Your airships will appear as colored icons overlaid on the terrain, showing their exact positions and rotations across the entire loaded world.

Reading Ship Information

The world map displays each airship using the exact blocks you built it with, rendered in a top-down view. This means your custom flying machine will look like a miniature version of itself on the map, making it easy to identify which ship is which at a glance. The map updates in real-time as your ships move and turn.

Navigation Tips

  • Zoom in and out to see your ships in more detail or get a broader overview
  • Use the map to plan flight paths and avoid obstacles
  • Track multiple airships simultaneously to coordinate group flights
  • The map respects your render distance, so distant ships may not appear until you get closer
