How do I set up a shop that accepts coins?
Place a Shop Block, then place a Coin Depositor block next to its Stock Ticker. The Coin Depositor connects your shop to the coin payment system and lets customers pay with coins from their inventory or a bank card.
What's the difference between paying with coins from my inventory vs a bank card?
Coins in your inventory take up item slots, while a bank card stores money separately without using inventory space. Insert a bank card into the Coin Depositor to use stored funds instead of carrying physical coins.
How does the exact change system work?
When you pay with a large coin but only owe a smaller amount, the shop automatically breaks down your coin and returns the correct change in smaller denominations. You don't need to manually exchange coins.
Can I set a shop to require both coins AND items to buy something?
Yes, this is Mixed Trading. You can configure a shop price to cost both regular items and coins simultaneously, so customers must provide both to complete a purchase.
Do I need to craft a bank card or can I find one?
You need to craft a bank card using coins and other materials. Check the crafting recipe in your inventory or on the wiki to see the exact ingredients needed.
What happens if a customer doesn't have enough coins to buy something?
The purchase is blocked and the customer cannot complete the transaction. The shop displays the required coin amount on the payment screen so players know how much they need.
Can I use this mod with regular Create shops that don't have coin support?
No, you need to use the Coin Depositor block to connect coin payments to a shop. Standard Create shops without this integration won't accept coins as payment.
Does the Coin Depositor need redstone or power to work?
The Coin Depositor functions as a mechanical component in the Create system, so check if it requires rotational power or redstone activation based on your mod setup and the guides provided.
Can multiple players use the same shop with their own bank cards?
Yes, each player can insert their own bank card into the Coin Depositor to pay from their personal funds, making it work for multiplayer shops and trading.
