Verifying Mod Installation

If you're not seeing custom recipes, confirm that both Create and Applied Energistics 2 are installed and loaded. Create Energistics is a recipe data pack—it requires both parent mods to function. Check your mod list in the main menu. If recipes still don't appear, try closing and reopening your recipe book, or restart your world.

Enabling Optional Recipe Packs

Some recipes only appear if you install additional mods like Create Additions, Create New Age, or WTLib. If you want the complete recipe set, add these mods to your instance. After installation, existing recipes won't change, but new ones will become available in your recipe book.

Checking Recipe Viewer Compatibility

Ensure you're using a compatible recipe viewer mod (such as REI, JEI, or similar). Some viewers may not display data pack recipes correctly if not updated. Try switching recipe viewers or updating your current one. If a specific item's recipe seems wrong, verify you're looking at the Create Energistics variant and not the default recipe by checking the mod label in the recipe details.
