Finding and Using Custom AE2 Recipes in Create

Locating the New Recipes

Once Create Energistics is installed alongside Applied Energistics 2 and Create, your recipe book will contain the new crafting alternatives. Open your recipe book (default: press R or check your mod's keybind settings) and search for any AE2 item—such as processors, storage cells, or cable parts. You'll see both the original recipe and the new Create-based variant.

Understanding the Recipe Structure

The custom recipes replace standard crafting table recipes with Create's mechanical systems. Instead of simple ingredient combinations, you'll craft using Create's assembly line approach. The new recipes are designed to visually match the final item—for example, a processor's recipe uses components that reflect its appearance in your inventory.

Applying the Recipes

To use these recipes, gather the ingredients shown in your recipe viewer. Set up the appropriate Create crafting stations or mechanical systems as indicated. If you have Extended AE2 installed, wireless crafting recipes will also appear. Check your recipe viewer frequently as you progress—new recipes may become available as you unlock different Create blocks and components.
