Set Up a Color-Coded Mechanical System

Planning Your Color Scheme

Before dyeing, decide which colors represent which functions in your factory. For example: red for power transmission, blue for item input lines, and green for output lines.

Dyeing Mechanical Components

Right-click pumps, mechanical components, and other Create blocks with dyes to apply color. The mod supports a wide range of Create's mechanical parts, including those from addon mods like Create: Aeronautics and Create: Sound of Steam.

Maintaining Functionality

Dyeing is purely cosmetic—colored blocks work identically to their undyed versions. Rotation, speed, and all mechanical properties remain unchanged.

Scaling Across Your Base

Once your color system is established, apply it consistently throughout your factory. This makes it easy for you (and anyone else visiting your world) to understand the flow of items, fluids, and power at a glance. Update colors as you expand or reorganize sections.
