Dye Your Fluid Pipes and Tanks
Gathering Dyes
Collect standard Minecraft dyes in the colors you want. You can obtain these through crafting, farming (like wither roses or cornflowers), or trading with villagers.
Applying Color to Pipes
Hold a dye in your hand and right-click on any fluid pipe, tank, pump, or other supported fluid component. The block will immediately take on that dye color while keeping all its original functionality. The color is stored directly in the block's data, so it persists through world saves and doesn't create duplicate blocks in your creative menu.
Changing or Removing Color
To change a pipe's color, simply right-click it with a different dye. If you want to remove the color entirely, use a water bucket or check if your mod version supports a dedicated color-removal item.
Color-Coding Your Factory
Use different dyes to organize your fluid network by type—for example, red for lava lines, blue for water, and green for potions. This makes troubleshooting and expanding your factory much easier at a glance.
