Basic Driving Controls

Once seated and the engine is running, use W to accelerate forward and S to reverse. Use A and D to turn left and right. The car responds to terrain, so driving uphill requires more fuel and momentum.

Advanced Maneuvers

Press Space to activate your boosters for a temporary speed boost—useful for climbing hills or escaping danger. Press N to engage the handbrake, which stops your car quickly but can cause skidding on certain surfaces. Use the handbrake strategically when you need precision turning or emergency stops.

Managing Steam Pressure

Press U to access the control panel while driving. Monitor your fuel and pressure gauges. If pressure drops too low, your car will lose power. Keep the fuel valve engaged (hold it) to maintain steam production. Press C to honk the whistle—useful for signaling other players or just having fun. Practice these controls in open terrain before attempting challenging routes.
