Build and Fuel Your First Steam Car

Crafting the Boilerbox

The Boilerbox is the core component of your steam car. Craft it using a mechanical crafter with the required materials. Once crafted, place it down in a clear area where you have room to drive.

Fueling and Starting Up

Your car runs on lava fuel. Fill the left-side tank by right-clicking it with lava buckets until it's full. The more fuel you add, the longer you can drive before needing to refuel.

Once fueled, right-click the seat to sit down inside your car. Press U to open the control panel. You'll see the fuel valve on the panel—hold it to activate the engine and build up steam pressure.

Ready to Drive

With steam built up, use WASD keys to move forward, backward, and turn. Press Space to activate boosters for a speed burst. Press C to honk the whistle and N to engage the handbrake for quick stops. Monitor your fuel level regularly and refuel when the tank runs low to avoid stalling mid-journey.
