Place a buy order for items you need

Understanding buy orders

Instead of waiting for items to appear on the market, you can post a buy order—a request offering to purchase items at a price you set. Other players can fulfill your order by selling to you.

Creating a buy order

1. Open /ah and find the Buy Orders or Create Order section

2. Select the item type you want to purchase

3. Specify how many you need

4. Set the price per item in bank currency that you're willing to pay

5. Post your order

Your order stays active on the market, and sellers can accept it anytime. This is useful when an item is scarce or you want to negotiate a specific price.

Managing your orders

Check your active buy orders in the market menu. You can cancel orders if you no longer need the items, which will free up your bank currency for other trades.
