Understanding Crayon Craft's Block and Item Styling

How Blocks Are Restyled

Crayon Craft replaces every standard block texture with scanned hand-drawn crayon sketches. This means:

  • Natural blocks (dirt, grass, stone, wood) appear rough and sketched
  • Decorative blocks (flowers, leaves, copper) feature bright, playful doodles
  • Underground materials (tuff, deepslate, ores) are rendered with scribbled textures
  • Structural elements (trial chamber blocks, dungeon walls) show custom drawn styling

Item and Potion Changes

Your inventory reflects the same aesthetic. Tools, weapons, food, and materials all display as rough paper doodles. Potions are particularly distinctive—their bottles and contents are rendered as colorful hand-drawn sketches rather than the default smooth appearance.

Biome-Specific Textures

Different environments receive tailored crayon treatment. Forests glow with bright scribbled vegetation, mangrove swamps showcase muddy rough textures, and cherry groves feature distinctly colored pink hand-drawn leaves. This makes navigating and identifying biomes more visually engaging and playful.
