Play Left-Handed Without Visual Glitches

Left-Handed Support

The Crampedness Mod fully supports left-handed play mode without visual glitches or animation errors. Both hand positions animate correctly regardless of your game settings.

How It Works

When you enable left-handed mode in your Minecraft settings, the mod automatically mirrors its animation behavior. Your left hand becomes your primary tool hand, and it retracts and extends naturally as you move near obstacles, just as it would for right-handed players.

Each hand still animates independently, so if you're holding different items in each hand, both respond smoothly to your proximity to walls, blocks, and mobs.

No Configuration Needed

There are no special settings to adjust—simply enable left-handed mode in your game options, and the mod adapts automatically. The retraction effect, animation smoothness, and pause behaviors during eating or bow-aiming all work identically for left-handed players.

Your reach distance and hitbox detection remain unchanged, so gameplay mechanics are completely unaffected by your hand preference.
