Navigate Tight Caves Without Visual Interference

How Retraction Works in Confined Spaces

The Crampedness Mod smoothly pulls your held items closer to your screen when you walk near walls, solid blocks, mobs, or other players. This prevents your hands and tools from clipping through geometry, keeping your view clear in tight caves and narrow corridors.

Exploring Safely

As you approach any solid obstacle, your held item automatically retracts toward the center of your screen. Each hand animates independently, so if you're holding a tool in one hand and a torch in the other, both respond naturally to nearby walls.

When you step away from obstacles, your items smoothly return to their normal position. This creates a seamless first-person experience without jarring snaps or sudden movements.

Maintaining Visibility

Your reach distance and ability to interact with blocks remain completely unchanged—only the visual position of held items shifts. Maps and empty hands stay in their standard view, so navigation tools and offhand items won't obstruct your vision. This makes exploring complex cave systems more comfortable and immersive.
