Frequently asked questions
How do I craft tall grass?
Place two short grass in the crafting grid to create one tall grass. Short grass can be found in loot chests or obtained by breaking grass blocks in the world.
Where do I find short grass to start crafting?
Short grass is commonly found in loot chests throughout the world, or you can break regular grass blocks to collect grass items. Once you have enough short grass, you can combine them into tall grass.
Can I craft large fern with this mod?
Yes, this mod also adds a crafting recipe for large fern using a similar mechanic to tall grass. Check the crafting recipes section of the wiki for the exact ingredient combination.
Why can't I place tall grass in survival mode without this mod?
In vanilla Minecraft, tall grass only exists as a block that generates naturally and cannot be obtained as an item. This mod solves that by making tall grass craftable so you can carry and place it yourself.
