Corail Deconstruction Table FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I craft a Deconstruction Table?
The Deconstruction Table recipe should be visible in your recipe book once you have the mod installed. Check the crafting menu by pressing the recipe book button, or look up the table in JEI/NEI if you have those mods enabled.
Can I get my enchantments back from enchanted tools?
Yes. Place an enchanted tool in the Deconstruction Table and it will break down into its base materials plus enchanted books containing the original enchantments, making it easy to reapply them to new tools.
What happens if I deconstruct a damaged item?
Damaged items return fewer resources than pristine ones—the amount scales based on how much durability remains, so a nearly broken tool yields less than one in good condition.
Can I deconstruct potions and get the effects back?
Yes. Deconstructing items with potion effects transfers those effects back into potion bottles, letting you recover and reuse the effects rather than losing them.
Does this work on complex items like banners and fireworks?
Yes, the mod supports dynamic items including banners, fireworks, and containers—all their custom data (colors, patterns, effects) is preserved and returned as components.
Can I deconstruct mod items?
Yes, if a crafting recipe exists for a mod item in your recipe book, the Deconstruction Table can break it down into its ingredients.
What about dyed items like leather armor?
Dyed items are fully supported and will deconstruct into their base form plus dye, so you can recover both the material and the color.
Is there a limit to what I can deconstruct?
As long as a recipe exists for an item, it can be deconstructed—the mod is designed to handle nearly all vanilla and mod items.
Are there any advancements in this mod?
Yes, the mod includes hidden advancements that unlock as you use the Deconstruction Table, rewarding exploration of its features.
Does this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is designed to be lightweight and should not cause noticeable performance impact, though like any mod it depends on your system and total mod count.
