How to Make the Coordinates HUD Smaller and Less Distracting

Switch to Minimum Mode

If the full readout feels cluttered, enable Minimum Mode in Visual Settings. This swaps the HUD for a compact style similar to what Lunar Client shows — just the essentials rather than every field. It is the fastest way to cut visual noise while keeping your coordinates readable during normal play.

Trim the information shown

Under Rendering Settings you control which pieces of information appear. Turn off sections you do not need — for example, hide the biome name or the Minecraft version if you only care about position and direction. Fewer active fields means a smaller, cleaner block of text.

Reduce visual weight

You can also:

  • Toggle Background off so the text floats without a panel behind it.
  • Toggle Round with Decimals off to show whole numbers instead of long decimal strings, which shortens each line.
  • Lower Text Padding so the remaining lines sit closer together.

Verify

Return to the game and check that the HUD no longer pulls your eye away from the action. If it is still too prominent, combine Minimum Mode with the background off — that combination gives the least intrusive result while keeping coordinates visible.
