Catch Your First Pokémon and Start Training
Finding and Catching Your First Creature
Head out into nearby biomes with an empty Poké Ball in your inventory. Wild creatures spawn in most grassy and forest areas. Approach a creature carefully—they'll flee if startled. Weaken the creature by attacking it with your weapon or having a trained creature battle it. Lower health makes capture easier.
Throwing Your First Poké Ball
Once the creature is damaged, aim and throw a Poké Ball by right-clicking. The ball will shake—if it breaks free, repeat the weakening process and try again. Once caught, the creature joins your party.
Beginning Training
Open your quest book to find beginner battles and training tasks. Battle wild creatures or other trainers to gain experience. Your caught creature will level up and may learn new moves. Keep battling to build familiarity with your team's abilities. As you progress through quests, you'll unlock better Poké Balls and gain access to stronger creatures in new biomes.
Tip: Don't rush to catch everything—focus on training a small team first so they grow stronger together.
