Cookiemon Pokemon Cobblemon RPG & Cookies Modpack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I catch my first Pokémon?
Find a wild creature in any biome, weaken it in battle by attacking with your own Pokémon or items, then throw a Poké Ball at it when its health is low. You'll start with a beginner Pokémon from your quest book to help you catch others.
What's the best way to level up my team fast?
Battle wild Pokémon and other trainers repeatedly—creatures gain experience from every battle. Completing quests in your quest book also rewards experience and gear to help your team grow stronger.
How do I evolve my Pokémon?
Most creatures evolve by reaching a certain level through battles and training. Check your Pokédex or quest log for specific evolution requirements for each creature.
Where do I find skill pages and how do I use them?
Skill pages drop from wild Pokémon, chests in new biomes, and quest rewards. Collect them and use them to learn new magic spells and abilities that boost your character's power in and out of battle.
How do I claim land and what does it protect?
Use the land claim tool (found in your inventory or crafted) to mark an area as yours. This prevents other players from breaking blocks or stealing items in your claimed territory, protecting your base and stored Pokémon.
Can I ride all my Pokémon or just certain ones?
Only certain Pokémon are rideable—look for creatures marked as rideable in your Pokédex. Rideable Pokémon let you travel faster across land, water, and sky, making exploration much quicker.
What's the point of the casino and how do I win?
The casino is a mini-game area where you can gamble items or currency for a chance to win rare rewards. Winning depends on luck, so treat it as entertainment rather than a reliable way to get gear.
How do I get cookie blocks and what can I build with them?
Craft cookie blocks using ingredients you gather or find in the world. Use them to decorate your base alongside custom furniture—they're purely cosmetic and help make your home look unique and cozy.
Do I need to complete all the quests or can I skip them?
Quests are optional but highly recommended—they teach you game mechanics, guide your progression, and reward you with gear and experience. Skipping them means missing out on helpful items and learning opportunities.
Can I play this mod with friends online?
Yes, you can team up with friends on multiplayer servers or realms. You can battle together, share your caught Pokémon, and protect each other's claimed land through cooperative gameplay.
