Enable Legacy Console Edition Eating and Drinking Animations

Access the Configuration Menu

Open the Cookey Mod config screen through your mod menu or settings. Look for the animation or visual tweaks section.

Locate the Third-Person Animation Setting

Find the option labeled for third-person eating or drinking animations. This setting restores the eating and drinking pose from legacy console editions, where your character's arm position and animation style differ from modern Java Edition.

Toggle the Feature On

Enable this option and return to your world. When you eat food or drink potions, your character will now display the classic console-style animation in both first and third-person perspectives.

Verify the Change

Eat a food item or drink a potion to confirm the animation plays correctly. The visual style should match legacy console behavior rather than the standard Java Edition pose. If playing in multiplayer, other players will see your updated animation as well.
