Using Continents Data Pack

What Continents Does

Continents Data Pack is a WorldGen addon that reshapes your world into large oceans dotted with continents, archipelagos, and islands. It does not add new biomes or change how biomes are distributed — it only makes oceans more common, so landmasses form as distinct continents rather than sprawling, connected terrain. This keeps worlds playable and exploration meaningful.

Compatibility and Spawning

Because Continents leaves biome distribution untouched, the same seed produces the same landmasses and regions even when combined with other WorldGen mods. It works with any existing WorldGen mod, including Terralith, and is compatible with the Vanilla large biomes world type. To avoid unlucky starts, the pack ensures players spawn on at least a medium-sized continent rather than a tiny island.

How to Use It

Install it as a data pack in your world. No configuration is required — generation changes apply automatically to new worlds or unexplored chunks.
