Accessing Base Status Options

Press U to open your status menu. The base status section is where you communicate what you're currently doing with your content.

Setting Recording or Streaming Status

Within the base status, you can toggle:

• Recording — indicates you're capturing footage for later editing and upload
• Streaming — shows that you're live broadcasting to an audience right now

This helps other players understand why you might be playing differently, taking longer on tasks, or need fewer interruptions.

Why This Matters

When other players see you're recording or streaming, they can adjust their behavior accordingly—avoiding pranks, respecting your focus, or timing their collaborations around your content schedule. This is especially useful on shared servers where multiple creators work together.
