Troubleshoot Connected Textures Not Showing

Check Your Texture Renderer

Connected Paths Mod generates the texture files, but you need a renderer to display them. Verify that either Continuity or OptiFine is installed and active.

If you're using OptiFine, go to Options > Video Settings > Quality and confirm that connected textures are enabled (not set to "off").

Verify Resource Pack Order

Open Options > Resource Packs and check that:

The Connected Paths generated packs appear in your Selected list
They're positioned above the vanilla resource pack
No conflicting texture packs are ranked higher

Regenerate Textures

If textures still aren't showing:

1. Close Minecraft completely

2. Verify your mods folder contains Connected Paths Mod and your content mods

3. Relaunch Minecraft—the mod will regenerate texture packs automatically

4. Check the resource packs menu again

If you recently added or removed mods, the generated packs may be outdated. A fresh game launch will rebuild them for your current mod list. Check your game log for any errors related to texture generation or missing mod dependencies.
