Blend Terrain Across Different Biomes and Mods

Understanding Connected Texture Blending

Connected Paths Mod creates seamless transitions between different ground and path blocks by generating textures that connect at their edges. When two different block types sit next to each other—like a stone path beside grass, or modded soil beside vanilla dirt—the connected textures make them blend visually instead of showing hard borders.

Maximize Blending in Your World

To see the best blending effects:

1. Use terrain generation mods like Biomes O' Plenty, Oh The Biomes We've Gone, or Regions Unexplored—these add diverse ground blocks that benefit most from connected textures

2. Build paths and structures using the supported brick and rock blocks; they'll automatically connect to neighboring terrain

3. Ensure your resource packs are active and positioned above vanilla textures in your resource pack list

4. Use Continuity or OptiFine with connected textures enabled in the video settings

The mod works with dimension mods too, so custom Nether and cave biomes will also display blended ground textures. The more varied your terrain blocks, the more noticeable the seamless blending becomes.
