View and Extract NBT Data From Blocks and Mobs
Bind Your NBT Viewer Key
Go to Controls → Gameplay and set a key for the NBT viewer. It starts unbound by default.
Point and Read
Look directly at a block (like a chest or furnace) or a mob (like a villager or armor stand) with your crosshair. Press your NBT key. A window opens showing all hidden data stored in that object—enchantments, custom names, inventory contents, and more.
Understand the Data
NBT data is displayed in a structured format. You'll see tags like display, Enchantments, Items, and other Minecraft-specific values that don't appear in the regular game interface.
Save NBT Information
You can copy or export the NBT data from the viewer window for reference or to use in commands.
Tip
This is useful for checking what's inside containers without opening them, verifying mob properties, or debugging custom items and structures.
