How to Turn Concrete Back into Concrete Powder in a Furnace

Reversing the Conversion

Sometimes you convert too much concrete and want the powder back — for crafting, dyeing, or storage. The mod lets you cook concrete back into concrete powder in a furnace, just like smelting any other item.

Step-by-Step

1. Place a furnace (or any furnace-type block that accepts vanilla smelting recipes).

2. Put concrete of the color you want to reverse into the top/input slot.

3. Add fuel to the bottom slot — coal, charcoal, planks, or whatever you normally burn.

4. The output slot will contain concrete powder of the same color.

5. Pull the powder out and use it however you like — re-dye it, store it, or throw it back in water to make concrete again.

When This Is Useful

  • Color correction: If you crafted the wrong shade, smelt the concrete back to powder and re-dye it.
  • Storage: Powder stacks the same as concrete, but if you need powder specifically for a recipe, this saves a crafting trip.
  • Looping automation: You can feed concrete from a machine back through a furnace to reclaim powder, then re-run it through the conversion line.

Note that smelting consumes fuel, so only reverse concrete when you actually need the powder — otherwise just keep the concrete as-is.
