How to Convert Concrete Powder into Concrete by Throwing It in Water

The Basic Throw Method

This is the core mechanic of the mod and the fastest way to turn a stack of concrete powder into solid concrete without placing a single block.

1. Craft or obtain concrete powder in any color (the vanilla recipe works normally).

2. Find any water source — an ocean, a river, a pond, or even a single water bucket poured into a hole.

3. Hold the concrete powder stack in your hand.

4. Aim at the water and press your drop key (default Q). The powder item flies forward as a dropped entity.

5. The moment the dropped powder touches water, it converts into a concrete item entity.

6. Swim or walk over and pick up the concrete.

Tips for Bulk Conversion

  • Drop powder from directly above deep water so items sink and stack up on the bottom for easy collection.
  • A flowing water stream works just as well as a still source block, so you can build a channel and toss stacks in at one end.
  • If you drop powder onto dry land by mistake, it stays as powder — just pick it back up and try again.
  • Concrete items dropped in water will not despawn any faster than normal, but collect them promptly to avoid losing them to the despawn timer.

This method needs no machines, no fuel, and no GUI — just powder and water.
