How to Automate Concrete Production with the Mod's Machines

Why Automate

Throwing stacks by hand works fine for small builds, but large projects need a steady supply. The mod adds simple machines specifically for automating the powder-to-concrete conversion.

Setting Up the Line

1. Place the conversion machine next to a water source so it has water to work with. Check the machine's own tooltip or GUI for how it wants water supplied — some setups use an adjacent water block, others accept a bucket or fluid input.

2. Feed concrete powder into the machine's input. You can use a hopper, a chute, or any item transport you already have.

3. Provide the machine with whatever it needs to run (commonly a water supply and, depending on the machine, no fuel at all).

4. Route the output — finished concrete — into a chest or onward hopper line.

Practical Layout Tips

  • Build the machine directly beside or above a water pool so you never run dry.
  • Use a hopper chain: chest of powder → hopper → machine input, and machine output → hopper → output chest.
  • If you want to reverse the process later, remember concrete can be cooked back into powder in a furnace, so you can loop material if needed.
  • Keep the machine chunk loaded if you want it running while you are away.

Once running, the machine converts powder continuously, letting you focus on building instead of tossing items.
