Getting Started with Complete Cobblemon Collection as a Mod
This pack is installed as a single mod file rather than as separate data packs and resource packs, which simplifies setup but changes how you verify it is working.
Confirm the Mod Is Loaded
After launching the game, open the mod list from the main menu. You should see Complete Cobblemon Collection listed alongside Cobblemon itself. If it is missing, the game did not load it and no added Pokémon will appear. Cobblemon must also be present — this pack depends on it and will not function alone.
Verify New Pokémon Are Present
Open your Pokédex and scroll through the species list. Pokémon added by this pack appear in the same Pokédex as base Cobblemon entries, so you can confirm the mod is active by checking for species that are not part of the base mod. If the Pokédex looks identical to a vanilla Cobblemon install, the pack is not loading correctly.
Understand What Changes
The mod adds models, animations, and spawn data for many Pokémon. It does not add new items, blocks, or crafting recipes of its own — it extends the existing Cobblemon systems. That means you catch, breed, and battle these Pokémon using the same tools you already use in Cobblemon.
First Steps in a New World
Start a fresh world or load an existing one, then explore a few different biomes. Because spawns are biome-specific, checking two or three biomes quickly tells you whether the added Pokémon are appearing. If nothing new shows up anywhere, revisit the mod list before assuming a spawn problem.
