How to Browse a Long Modded Command List with /help Pages

Understanding the Paginated Output

When many mods are installed, /help normally dumps an overwhelming wall of commands. Compact Help Command sorts them alphabetically and splits them across pages. Typing /help alone shows the first page; the footer tells you how many pages exist and how to move between them.

Navigating Pages

Use /help <page number> to jump directly to a page — for example, /help 2 for the second page. Because commands are alphabetical, you can estimate which page a command lives on and skip straight there instead of stepping through one at a time. If you overshoot, just enter a lower page number. The page size is governed by amountCommandsPerPage in the config, so if pages feel too long or too short, adjust that value and reload.

Finding a Specific Command

If you know the command name, skip paging entirely and use /help <command>. This shows that command's information in a cleaner, focused format rather than making you hunt through pages. Combine both approaches: use /help <command> for known commands, and paged /help when you are exploring what a new mod added. Alphabetical ordering means related commands from the same mod tend to cluster together, which helps when learning a mod's command set.
