Troubleshoot Missing or Broken Colored Lighting

Check Your Shader Pack Compatibility

Colorwheel Patcher only supports specific shader packs. Verify your shader is on the supported list:

  • BSL
  • Bliss
  • Complementary
  • Euphoria Patches
  • Photon
  • Rethinking Voxels

If you're using a different shader, colored lighting won't work with this mod.

Verify the Patch Applied

1. Open Video Settings and check if your shader name ends with "+ Clrwl"

2. If it doesn't, the patcher didn't run — try restarting the game completely

3. Ensure both Colorwheel and Colorwheel Patcher are in your mods folder

Test Colored Lighting

Place a colored light source (redstone lamp, glowing block, or lava) next to a white surface. Colored light should tint nearby blocks. If you only see white light, the patch failed.

Reset and Retry

If problems persist, delete the patched shader files from your shader folder and restart the game to let the patcher regenerate them.
