Identify Patched Shaders in Your Video Settings
Finding Patched Shader Versions
When Colorwheel Patcher successfully modifies your shader files, it adds a clear visual indicator so you know which version to use.
Recognizing Patched Shaders
Open Video Settings and look at your shader list. Patched shaders will display with a "+ Clrwl" suffix at the end of the name. For example:
- "BSL + Clrwl" (patched)
- "BSL" (original, unpatched)
Always select the version with the + Clrwl label to enable colored lighting.
Why Two Versions Appear
The patcher creates a modified copy of your shader while keeping the original intact. This lets you switch between colored and standard lighting without reinstalling. The original shader remains unchanged and available if needed.
Selecting Your Patched Shader
1. Go to Video Settings
2. Find your shader pack in the list
3. Click the version ending in "+ Clrwl"
4. Apply changes
5. Colored lighting is now active
