How do I open the mod menu to change my settings?
Press K to open the COI Client Mod menu. From there you can adjust your ability HUD position, scale, and rebind your hotkeys to suit your playstyle.
Can I change which abilities are mapped to which keys?
Yes, open the menu with K and adjust your key bindings. You can map up to six active ability slots to any keys between Z and N, or customize them further based on your preference.
What's the fastest way to switch between different powers in combat?
Hold G to open the radial selection wheel, which lets you pick an active power instantly without opening the full menu. This is much faster than pressing individual hotkeys when you need to adapt mid-fight.
How does gesture casting work and when should I use it?
Hold Left Alt and move your mouse to draw ritual shapes like circles, lines, and triangles on your screen. Release to cast the gesture; this is useful for powers that require specific ritual patterns as an alternative to hotkey casting.
What do the visual effects on my screen mean when things get glitchy?
Glitch effects and static overlays appear when your sanity drops dangerously low, warning you that you're approaching critical madness. Check your on-screen sanity bar to see exactly how much mental stability you have left.
Why is my character model looking weird and glowing?
The mod replaces your player model with animated 3D shapes that represent your current pathway, such as Fool, Sun, or Tyrant. This is a visual feature and doesn't affect gameplay—it's purely cosmetic.
Can I see my pathway and sanity status outside of the game?
Yes, the mod displays your current pathway icon, sanity state, and server info in Discord Rich Presence, so your Discord status shows what you're doing in the mod.
What should I do if my sanity is dropping too fast?
Monitor your on-screen madness bar in real time and avoid triggering high-cost abilities or environmental hazards that drain sanity. If you see blood rain, creeping frost, or heartbeat pulses, these are signs that sanity-draining effects are active.
Does this mod work with other ability mods or plugins?
This mod is designed to extend the Circle of Imagination plugin specifically; compatibility with other mods depends on whether they conflict with ability systems or HUD elements. Check your server's mod list or ask your administrator if you're unsure.
Why is my HUD in a weird position or too small to read?
