Use the Trades Tab for Item Swaps

Understand Item-for-Item Trading

The Trades tab shows exchanges that don't require CobbleDollars—you swap one item directly for another. These trades are useful when you need specific items but want to preserve your currency.

Access Available Trades

Right-click a villager and click the Trades tab. The interface lists all item-for-item swaps this villager offers. Each trade shows what you give and what you receive.

Select and Execute Trades

Choose the trade you want, adjust the quantity if the villager allows multiple swaps, and click the trade button. Your inventory updates immediately without any CobbleDollar cost.

Combine with Buy and Sell Tabs

Use Trades when you have surplus items but limited funds. For example, trade unwanted items for something useful, then sell that item to another villager for CobbleDollars if needed.

Repeat Trades Strategically

Some villagers offer the same trade multiple times. Keep the shop open and repeat profitable or useful trades as often as the villager allows.
