Create Your First Custom Poké Ball
Gather Your Materials
Before you can craft custom balls, you need apricorns and a core mineral. Apricorns grow on trees throughout the world in various base colors. Collect at least four apricorns (one for each ball part: lid, rim, button, and base) plus your chosen core mineral—copper ingot for a standard Poké Ball, iron ingot for a Great Ball, or higher-tier materials for stronger catch rates.
Build and Use the Workbench
Craft a
Modular Ball Workbench using colored apricorns, an iron ingot, and a regular crafting table. Place the workbench in your base and open its interface.
Insert one apricorn into each of the four colored slots (lid, rim, button, base). Place your core mineral in the center slot—this determines your catch rate tier. The 3D preview above the workbench updates in real-time as you add pieces.
Once satisfied with your design, collect your finished ball from the output slot. Your custom colors persist through inventory, battles, and world reloads, so you can safely use your creation without losing its appearance.
