Find Hidden Items in Caves and Buildings

Exploring Caves

Caves scattered across routes and towns contain valuable items hidden in chests, on the ground, and in hidden corners. Bring a light source since caves are dark, and watch for wild Pokémon encounters. Many caves have multiple levels to explore.

Searching Buildings

Towns contain houses, shops, and landmarks where items are stashed. Talk to NPCs for hints about item locations, and thoroughly explore each building's interior. Some items are obvious; others require careful searching of less-visited rooms.

Types of Items

Look for Poké Balls, healing items like potions and antidotes, evolution stones, and held items that boost your Pokémon's stats or abilities. Rare items are often found in caves or hidden behind obstacles.

Collection Strategy

Visit caves and buildings on routes you've already traveled. Return to areas after gym battles to find items you might have missed. Some locations only reveal items after you've progressed the story, so revisit familiar areas as you advance through both regions.
