Finding Cobblemon Ores on High Cave Ceilings and in Deep Water
Why the Glow Helps You Look Up
Cobblemon ores can spawn in places you would never normally check — pressed against cave ceilings and sitting at the bottom of underground lakes. In vanilla lighting these blocks are almost invisible because your torch light does not reach them. The emissive pack turns them into small beacons you can spot from across a cavern.
Scanning a Cave Efficiently
1. Enter a large open cave and turn off your own light source (put away the torch or turn down brightness) so the glow stands out.
2. Look upward along the ceiling first — that is where most players miss ores.
3. Sweep your view slowly left to right rather than spinning, so your eye catches the colored glow.
4. Note the color: different
Cobblemon ores glow in different hues (pink, blue, and others), so learn which color matches which ore.
Checking Underground Water
When you find a dark pool, stand at the edge and look straight down. Glowing ore at the bottom will show as a colored patch through the water. Dive in with a water breathing method ready, or drain the pool if it is shallow, then mine the block normally. Bring a bucket or two — underwater mining is slow without the right tools.
