Accessing the brewing interface

Open EMI and search for a potion you want to brew. Click on it to open Cobblemon's custom brewing recipe display. This shows exactly how potions are crafted differently than vanilla Minecraft brewing.

Reading the brewing recipe

The interface displays:

• Base potion ingredients required
• Modifier items that change potion effects
• Final output and what it does when used

Tooltips explain each ingredient's role in the brewing process.

Gathering materials efficiently

Note all required ingredients before collecting materials. Use EMI's search to find where each ingredient comes from—some may require farming, crafting, or Pokémon drops. The recipe tree helps you see if you need multiple batches and calculates total material costs upfront.
