Cobblemon EMI Compat Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I see Cobblemon recipes in EMI?
Open EMI (default key R) and search for any Pokémon food item, berry, or potion. Cobblemon recipes will appear alongside vanilla recipes if the mod is installed correctly. You can click on them to see the full crafting steps.
Can I search for berry mutations in EMI?
Yes. Search for the berry you want to create, and EMI will show you which farmland conditions or parent berries are needed to grow it. Hover over the recipe to see detailed mutation requirements.
How do I find campfire pot meal recipes?
Search for the finished meal name in EMI, and the campfire pot recipe will display showing all base ingredients and seasoning options. The recipe viewer will highlight which seasonings affect the final dish.
What's the difference between searching for a recipe vs. looking at a potion?
Searching shows you how to *make* something (ingredients and steps), while clicking a potion item shows you what effects or items you get from brewing it. Both views are useful depending on whether you're crafting or planning.
Can I see how many berries I need for a big farming project?
Yes. Use EMI's recipe tree feature to expand the full crafting chain—it will calculate total materials needed when you trace back through multiple mutation or breeding steps.
Does this mod work with other recipe viewers?
This mod is specifically built for EMI. It may not display Cobblemon recipes correctly in other recipe viewers like JEI or REI.
Why aren't some Pokémon food recipes showing up?
Make sure you're searching for the exact item name, and that both Cobblemon and EMI are fully loaded. Some custom recipes may only appear after you've progressed in the mod.
Can I move ingredients directly into crafting slots from EMI?
Yes. The mod supports clicking ingredients in the EMI recipe display to auto-place them into your crafting grid when available in your inventory.
Does this mod affect game performance?
The mod is lightweight and only processes recipes when you open EMI. It should have minimal impact on performance, but disabling it will free up resources if you experience lag.
How do I know if a berry mutation needs specific farmland blocks?
Open the mutation recipe in EMI and check the hover text—it will specify soil type, moisture, or other farmland conditions required for that berry to grow.
