Cobblemon CRZ Moves Pokemon Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Why does my Pokémon not have moves it should learn by level?
The base Cobblemon mod has incomplete move pools. This mod adds the correct level-up moves from the official games, so your Pokémon will learn what they're supposed to when they gain levels. Make sure the mod is installed and enabled in your mods folder.
Do I need to restart my world or delete my Pokémon for the new moves to work?
No—the mod only adds new data without changing or removing existing information. Pokémon you've already caught won't retroactively learn moves, but any you catch after installing the mod will have the correct move pools from the start.
What TMs are now available that weren't before?
This mod re-enables Technical Machines that were disabled in the base mod, as long as they're legal in the official Pokémon games. Check the mod's move compatibility list to see which TMs now work with your team.
How do I breed Pokémon to get egg moves that were missing?
The mod fills in missing egg move pools, so compatible parent Pokémon will now pass down moves they couldn't before. Breed normally using a Pokémon Day Care, and offspring will inherit the newly-added egg moves from their parents.
Can I use moves from Pokémon Legends: Z-A?
Yes—this mod includes exclusive attacks from Legends: Z-A. These moves are available through the same methods as other moves: level-up, TM, or breeding, depending on which Pokémon can learn them.
Will this mod conflict with other Cobblemon add-ons?
This mod only adds data and doesn't overwrite base Cobblemon files, so it's generally compatible with other mods. However, if another mod also modifies move pools, load order matters—check your mod manager's priority settings.
Does this mod add new Pokémon or just fix moves?
This mod only adds and fixes moves for existing Pokémon across all nine generations. It doesn't introduce new species—it focuses entirely on move pools and compatibility.
Why can't my Pokémon learn a move even though the mod says it should?
Make sure you're using the correct method: some moves are level-up only, others require a TM or breeding. Also verify the Pokémon is the right species and generation—move pools can differ between forms and regional variants.
Does this mod affect performance or cause lag?
No—this mod only adds data to move pools and doesn't add blocks, entities, or complex mechanics. It has minimal impact on performance.
What happens if I remove this mod after using it?
Pokémon will keep any moves they learned while the mod was active. If you re-enable the mod later, they won't learn the same moves twice, but newly-caught Pokémon will have access to the expanded move pools again.
