Set Up Attack Animations for Battles

Understand How Attack Animations Work

Cobble Motion includes special attack animations for specific moves during Pokémon battles. These animations trigger automatically when your creatures use moves in combat—no configuration needed.

Attack animations are built into the pack's data and activate based on the move being used and the Pokémon performing it. Popular creatures like Incineroar and Lucario have distinct attack poses that display during their signature moves.

Ensure Battles Display Animations

1. Confirm the pack is installed in both your resource packs and data packs folders

2. Start a battle with a Pokémon that has attack animations (Lucario, Incineroar, Gengar, Mewtwo, etc.)

3. Use moves during combat and watch for dynamic poses

4. Attack animations display alongside the normal battle mechanics

Customize Animation Visibility

If attack animations aren't appearing, check that:

  • Your animation settings in Cobblemon aren't disabled
  • No conflicting packs are overriding these animations
  • The Pokémon species is included in Cobble Motion's update list

Attack animations enhance visual feedback but don't affect battle mechanics or damage calculations.
