Coasters Simulated Track Styles FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I apply a track style to my coaster?
Use the track style tool (found in your inventory or crafted) and right-click on any track anchor in your coaster. A menu will appear showing all available track styles—select one and it applies to the entire connected track loop instantly.
Can I use different track styles on the same coaster?
Yes. You can apply different styles to separate sections of your coaster by using the track style tool on different track anchors. Disconnected track sections can have completely different styles without affecting each other.
How do I change the color of my track rails and spine?
Use the track style tool and select your desired track model, then input hex color codes for the rails and spine separately in the in-game menu. You can customize colors independently for each section of track.
What happens if I mix single-spine and double-spine track on the same curve?
The mod is designed to handle smooth transitions between different track shapes along a single curve, so your ride flow won't break. The transition will render smoothly without gaps or collision issues.
Can I copy a track style from one coaster section to another?
Yes. Use the copy tool on an existing track anchor to save its style and colors, then apply that copied style to another section by using the track style tool elsewhere on your coaster.
How do I hide or customize the anchor blocks and support girders?
Use the anchor tool to select anchor blocks and support girders on your coaster. You can customize their appearance or hide them entirely to clean up your park's visual design.
Do the track styles work with shader packs?
Yes. The mod includes labPBR textures that add reflections and shine effects when you're running a compatible shader pack, making your tracks look more realistic and metallic.
What do I do if my track styles aren't showing up correctly?
Make sure Create: Coasters Simulated is installed and up to date, as this mod requires it as a dependency. If styles still don't appear, try re-applying the style tool to your track anchors.
Can I use real-world coaster manufacturer track styles in my builds?
Yes. The mod includes over 15 track styles inspired by real manufacturers like B&M, Intamin, Vekoma, Arrow, RMC, and Premier Rides, so you can recreate authentic-looking coasters.
Will this mod affect my game performance?
The mod adds custom models and textures, so performance depends on your system and how many styled coasters you build. Using shader packs with labPBR textures may have a larger performance impact than base game rendering.
