How to Use Firearms and Handheld Weapons

Equipping and Aiming

Craft or find firearms from the mod's loot or crafting recipes. Equip a rifle, sniper rifle, or other weapon in your hotbar. Hold right-click to aim down the sights—your view will zoom and show a crosshair. Keep your crosshair centered on your target.

Firing and Ammunition

Press left-click to fire. Each shot consumes ammunition from your inventory. Different weapons use different ammo types—ensure you're carrying the correct rounds. Sniper rifles deal high damage but fire slowly; assault rifles are faster but less accurate at range. Machine guns like the PKM have high fire rates and large magazines.

Heavy Weapons

RPGs and other explosive weapons require careful aim and positioning. These weapons have travel time and blast radius—account for both when targeting. Heavy weapons consume more ammunition per shot. Always maintain a supply of appropriate ammunition for your loadout, and consider weight when carrying multiple weapon types.
