How to Pilot Helicopters and Fixed-Wing Aircraft
Taking Off
Enter the pilot's seat of your aircraft and ensure it's fueled. For helicopters, gradually increase throttle (usually Shift or W) to lift off vertically. Fixed-wing aircraft need a runway—accelerate forward to build airspeed before pulling up to climb.
Flight Controls
Use mouse look to pitch (up/down) and roll (left/right). WASD typically controls throttle and trim. Helicopters are more maneuverable but slower; jets are fast but require more space to turn. Watch your altitude and fuel gauge constantly.
Combat and Landing
Attack helicopters and fighters have mounted weapons—aim using a crosshair and fire with left-click. For landing, reduce throttle gradually and descend slowly. Helicopters can land vertically; planes need a flat runway or open area. Approach landing zones at low speed to avoid crashes. Always land facing into the wind if possible for better control.
