How to Style Endtables, Mini Tables, and Small Props
The Layering Rule
Small Cluttered props — Amethyst Endtable, Antique Mini Table, Antique Bookstand, Antique Sewing Machine, Antique Standing Lamp — are meant to be layered, not placed alone. A single endtable in an empty room looks lost; the same endtable with a lamp, a book, and a jar on top reads as a lived-in corner.
Building a Side Table Cluster
Place an Amethyst Endtable or Antique Mini Table beside a chair or bed. On top, place a small item: an Apricot Jam Jar Block, Assorted Glass Jars, or Baking Ingredients for a kitchen, or an Ancient Codex and Antique Library Books for a study. Beside the table, place an Antique Standing Lamp for height. The lamp's vertical line balances the low table.
Themed Clusters
- Kitchen: Baking Ingredients, Assorted Glass Jars, Apricot Jam Jar Block on a mini table near a counter.
- Study: Antique Bookstand, Ancient Codex, Antique Map on a desk-height surface.
- Sewing room: Antique Sewing Machine on a table with a chair pulled up.
Spacing
Leave one empty block between clusters so each reads as its own vignette. Cramming props together flattens the detail.
