Clutch Client Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I open the Clutch Client menu?
Press the default keybind (usually Right Shift or a customizable key) to open the main menu. From there you can access all 68 modules organized into six categories: Base Hunting, Crystal PvP, DonutSMP Toolkit, Rendering, Combat, and Utility.
What's the best way to find hidden bases underground?
Use the Chunk Scanner module to highlight storage blocks like chests and shulker boxes, then enable Light Level rendering to spot unnatural lighting patterns. Combine this with Amethyst Cluster detection to narrow down search areas, since players often hide bases near valuable resources.
How do I track player activity without being seen?
Enable the Player Activity or Region Tracker module to see movement patterns and base visits across chunks without triggering any server alerts. This works silently in the background and doesn't require you to be near the target player.
Can I customize my crystal PvP hotkeys?
Yes—open the Crystal PvP Setup module in the menu and rebind each action (crystal placement, totem swap, anchor attack, mace action) to keys that feel natural for your playstyle. Test your setup in a safe area before using it in combat.
Why can't I see players through walls?
Make sure the Entity ESP or Player Hitbox rendering module is enabled in the Rendering category. If it's on but not working, check that you haven't disabled rendering for that specific entity type or that the player isn't using an invisibility potion.
Does this mod work on servers that aren't DonutSMP?
Yes—the base hunting and crystal PvP tools work on any anarchy server, but the DonutSMP Toolkit features (spawner protection, fake role detection, anti-trap detection) are specifically designed for DonutSMP-style competitive survival servers.
Will using this mod get me banned?
That depends entirely on your server's rules—some anarchy servers allow client mods, others don't. Check your server's guidelines before using Clutch Client, as detection policies vary widely.
How do I see where a player's pearl will land?
Enable the Pearl Trajectory rendering module to draw a line showing the predicted path and landing spot of thrown ender pearls in real time. This helps you predict enemy movement during fights or escapes.
Does Clutch Client slow down my game?
The mod is optimized for survival gameplay, but enabling many rendering modules at once (especially ESP and chunk scanning) can impact FPS depending on your hardware. Disable modules you're not actively using and adjust render distance settings if you notice lag.
Can I hide specific modules from my menu to reduce clutter?
Yes—most menus allow you to collapse or disable individual modules so only the ones you use regularly are visible. This makes navigation faster during intense situations like combat or base raids.
