Troubleshoot when replanting doesn't work

Why seeds aren't planting

If you right-click a broken crop and nothing plants, check these common issues.

Check your inventory

1. Open your inventory

2. Verify you have seeds of the correct type

3. Ensure seeds are not in a crafting grid or locked slot

The mod cannot plant if seeds are unavailable or inaccessible.

Verify the block state

1. Confirm the crop block is actually broken (no crop visible)

2. Right-click the empty dirt/farmland block again

3. If nothing happens, the block may not be farmland—it must be tilled soil

Lighting and growth

The mod plants seeds, but they still need proper conditions to grow. Ensure your farm has:

• Adequate light (crops need light level 9 or higher)
• Hydrated farmland (water nearby)
• Enough time for crops to mature before next harvest

If seeds plant but never grow, the problem is farm conditions, not the mod.
